Dubai Health Authority (DHA) / Medical Education and Research Department provides a comprehensive "Electronic Medical Library" to keep in line with the latest trends in e-government practices. The library provides Medical and Health Information Resources of for all Health Professionals (Government & Private) Licensed by DHA in the Emirates of Dubai and train them to acquire high-quality skills. The library seeks to provide up-to-date collections of Books, Journals, Clinical and Drug Databases, Continuing Medical Education to support all evidence-based Medical Practices, Nursing, Para-Medical, Pharmaceutical, Administrative, Residency and Internship Programs. DHA owns two refereed Medical Journals under the name “Dubai Medical Journal” and “Dubai Diabetes & Endocrinology Journal" to encourage researchers to publish their latest findings of scientific research.

All Health Professionals licensed by Dubai Health Authority can apply to become a member in DHA Medical Library. Pre-registration is required by filing this online form: DHA Medical Library Membership Pre-Registration. Your application will be reviewed and you will receive a response within 3 working days with the instructions to complete your membership. This access is provided for individuals only and should not be shared, disclosed and/or transferred to any third party or used for any type of Institutional or Board Accreditations.

Library collections are carefully managed by librarians and staff who engage in collection development, acquisition, cataloging, and preservation activities. The goal is to ensure that the collections are diverse, relevant, and up-to-date, serving the information needs of library users and fostering lifelong learning. These collections encompass a wide range of formats including electronic Journals, Books, Clinical and Evidence Based Medicine Resources, Practice Guidelines, CME Resources, Nursing Skills and Procedures, Drug Resources, Exam Resources and Multimedia Resources(Images and Videos)

DMJ is Peer-reviewed, Double blinded, Open Access Journal. It is mission is to encourage innovative research by promoting original scientific research in the fields of medicine, health sciences, nursing, pharmaceuticals, and laboratory and other related sciences. Nonclinical subjects related to medicine, ethics and complementary medicine as well as social and cultural issues, are also covered. The journal facilitates the dissemination of information through research articles, review articles, case reports, editorials, letters, book reviews, meeting reports, and discussions.
